What a change a month brings! After a rough start in August, things are looking a lot more solid as we finish up September with macro assets on the rise and global central banks looking to ignite a new easing cycle.
The team at SOFA just returned from the Token 2049 event in Singapore, and was happy to see many of our fellow builders and partners in person. We are excited about the plans we have for the rest of the year!
On to our latest protocol updates:
RCH Utility Expansion:
- RCH Earn: The RCH Earn protocol was launched in early September and has seen a steady pickup in volume, with nearly $18M deposited over the past 3 weeks.
- SOFA Ambassadors: We will be announcing our upcoming SOFA Ambassador program in the coming weeks, where users will be able to earn ‘Cushion’ aka rewards from our recently launched TG mini-app. Stay tuned for more info!
New Product Launches and Use-Case Expansions:
- TG Mini App: We launched our TG mini app over the past week, and will be using that to deploy a number of new community initiatives over the coming quarter.
- Autoroll Function: The much-requested ‘Autoroll’ function should be launched before the end of the month! Users will be able to enjoy the yield compounding capabilities of SOFA with even more convenience going forward!
- RCH Game Center: Our new RCH Game Center should also be up and running before October as well!
- Dual Currency Product: We have made modifications to our dual currency product with a target release in the 4th quarter.
- Points Staking: We will be releasing details of our SOFA points staking program over the next few weeks — please bear with us!
- UI Revamp: Based on community and partner feedback, we are in the process of designing a UI and thematic change to our interface to simplify the user experience and to improve user engagement to be more in-tune with our DeFi community. Keep your eyes peeled!
Partnerships & Collaborations:
- BNB Chain: SOFA went live on the BNB chain in September, and will be looking to work with various protocols & projects on the BNB chain for further expansion.
- Curve Integration: $RCH is now available as a lending collateral on the Curve Lend protocol for users to borrow crvUSD. Furthermore, deeper integration plans are being made for SOFA to help to generate yield on crvUSD tokens!
- UXUX Wallet: We have partnered with UXUY wallet as a new access point for our TG mini app.
